Definition of accountability

 The quality or state of being accountable especiallyan obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one’s actions –Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary

Accountability is the ability to account for one’s actions, thoughts, words and to take responsibility, without accountability there can be no self-discipline, discipline, responsibility, or growth. We are accountable to ourselves and cannot blame others. We also need to be accountable in our relationships with each other or with one other in a spirit of truth, honesty, kindness, and encouragement.
